Civic life shouldn’t feel like something happening to you, but rather like building something together.
Public service has been ingrained in me since childhood- from flipping pancakes at the American Legion with my grandpa to volunteering at church and being an all-star Girl Scout, to now serving on several nonprofit boards and participating in events and community initiatives around mental health, basic needs, resiliency, and more.
I’m a worker- holding multiple jobs since I was 14 in retail, food service, small business, nonprofit, university, and public.
I am a Habitat for Humanity homeowner, an affordable housing advocate, quality of life initiative champion, and a public servant in the truest sense.
I rely on public input, our working master plans, teamwork, and smart growth of this community to ensure its sustainability fiscally, socially, and environmentally.
I focus on work that allows us to not just survive but thrive – a place where families and individuals can teach here, work here, raise families here, operate local businesses, enjoy the beauty and programming of our community, and continue to afford to live here.
